The Reykjanes Geopark

A journey through Iceland’s most dynamic and accessible volcanic landscapes, where geothermal activity, tectonic movement and ancient (and recent!) lava fields converge. Perfect if you want to make the most of a few hours before heading to the airport or the Blue Lagoon.

Volcanic activity on Reykjanes. Due to volcanic activity and occasional road closures on the Reykjanes Peninsula, the itinerary may change. If a location is inaccessible we substitute an equally captivating alternative, such as the North Coastal Loop, the Viking Ship exhibit in Njarðvík or the Giantess Cave in Keflavík.
